Roger Federer can play for four-five years, says former coach

The Aussie youngster Gerald Melzer was defeated by Carlos Berlocq of Argentina in the opening round of Erste Bank Open that is going on in the capital city of Austria.

It was only the 7th time that Gerald was featuring on the tour and considering his inexperience, he put up a good show.
In the first set yes, he was ordinary, but, thereafter, he pushed his opponent and at one point of time, he was threatening to take the match into the third set.

It wasn’t to be though as in the tie breaker, he lost it under pressure.

Sharipova Advances To Round 3

Anna Kournikova’s countrywoman, Maria Sharapova, made her way to round no. 3 in Toronto yesterday by getting better of Garbine Muguruza of Spain. The Russian star hadn’t started the match in the best possible way, but, she got herself back on track from the second set onwards and ended up securing the win.
In her next match, Sharapova will be up against another Spanish player i.e. Carla Suarez Navarro.
Speaking in the post match press conference, Sharapova said, “It was my first competitive match in a while. So, it took me a bit of time to get going.”
